Rowan Volleyball Dig Pink

Rowan Volleyball hosted their "Dig Pink" event to promote breast cancer awareness. All the proceeds made during the event went to the Side-Out Foundation, a group that provides medical and emotional support for breast cancer patients. In support of the event Rowan wore pink uniforms instead of their normal yellow ones.

Last night Rowan Women's Soccer played Kean University. It was a production night for the Whit so I was only able to shoot about 20 minutes of the game before I had to go back to the office and do more work. These are some of the pics I got in that short time.

Football Home Opener

Rowan had its home opener on Saturday against The College at Brockport. Rowan won 56-20.

Rowan Soccer TCNJ

Last Wednesday, 9/23, Rowan hosted a double header against The College of New Jersey. The women played at 5 and the main played at 7:30. Shooting a double header is always more work, twice the shooting means twice the editing. To make this worse it was a production night so i was shooting on a deadline.

For the women this game was their home opener. They ended up winning 4-0.

The men ended up tying there game at 1-1.

Volleyball Seniors

For The Whit I had to cover the three seniors on the volleyball team. I decided to pull out my flashes and do a simple portrait of the three before the game. When shooting athletes before a game, the time you have with the athletes is very limited. I had about five minutes before they started warming up to get. I decided to use a single flash shot threw an umbrella on the left of the camera. I liked the simple light that it gave out.

For the actual game I was assigned to get action shots of the seniors.

Volleyball Vs. Wesley College

On Tuesday Rowan Volleyball played Wesley College. Rowan was on a three game winning streak coming into the game. Rowan won the first the first two games of the match, then lost the next two, causing the match to come down to the fifth game. Rowan won the fifth match and extended their winning streak to 4 games.
